Besides the various worship services and informative workshops, there will also be numerous events where we can get together and have fun, food, and fellowship.
Wednesday Events
Welcome Dinner/Social
Join us for this Texas-themed Welcome Kick-off Dinner and Social. All ages will be entertained with a trick roper, fun games, and activities.Teen Dinner/Social
The teens will have dinner followed by ice skating and social.20/40 Outing
After the Kick-off Dinner, the 20/40 group will go to a country western bar called Wild West.
Thursday Events
Oratorical Festival and Awards
Student contestants in the Junior and Senior Division speak on the conference theme "The Bible fills us with Eternal Joy" and awards are give to the winner and to those who won in the Creative Arts, Writing, Poetry and Photography categories.
Children’s Programs
We have a very exciting Children’s Program planned for all kids 4 -12 years of age. Thursday afternoon we will have the pleasure of enjoying the wonderful songs and singing of Khouria Gigi Shadid as she graces us with a small concert. As we explore our theme of Spiritual Gardening, the children will engage in a service craft project for the elderly. They will make potted plants which will be delivered to the senior center by our 20/40 group on Friday.Bible Bowl
With adult and youth teams competing, we will concentrate on St. Paul's Epistle to the Romans.20/40 Outing
Fun and games at Dave and Buster's.Dessert Social/Dance
“Taste and see the Lord is good!” Join us for a sweet treat and game night following the Bible Bowl. (Teens will go to the dance after they finish dessert.)Teen Dance
Grab some dessert and head on over to the teen dance with live DJ.
Friday Events
Children's Programs
We continue our fun and games as we focus on a service project of preparing a potted plant to deliver to a local nursing home. We will then enjoy a field trip to the Children’s Museum of Houston.Teen SOYO Outreach Project
We will volunteer at the Houston Food Bank followed by a trip to play Laser Tag. (Pizza will be served for lunch.)20/40 Fellowship Service Project
The young adult group will deliver crafts (made by the children ages 4-12) to the Hampton Post Oak Senior Living Center. Their service project will include volunteering with seniors in other activities.Clergy Wives Outing
Join us for a short walk to the “Off the Wall” Gallery followed by lunch at Neiman Marcus.Grand Banquet & Hafli
"Festival of Lights" - Join us for wonderful food and dancing to a live band.

One last hurrah following Vespers (5pm) at St. Joseph Church.
